Behind Glamazon’s great name and image is Jere Clausen, Artistic
Director and Colour Specialist. As one of Glamazon’s owners, Jere
had a vision of what luxury services entail and brought them into his
own salon. Jere thrives on the development of downtown Muskegon
and couldn’t ask for a better location. He trained and specialized in
color in Fort Lauderdale for three years after cosmetology school.
After that he wanted to bring his knowledge and experience back to
his hometown of Muskegon. He opened Glamazon in December
2002. He began as the only employee and has grown Glamazon into
the urban salon it now is. His passion for hair and giving back to the
community has made Glamazon the flourishing business it is today.
